Add a Contact Form to your website. Within the form, include a checkbox that allows visitors to explicitly consent to receiving SMS messages from your business. This checkbox must be:
• Optional — do not make SMS consent mandatory for form submission.
• Clearly labelled — use the opt-in message below as the checkbox label.
Use the following text as your SMS consent opt-in message. The links to your Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions should be clickable within the form:
"By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages (e.g., payment reminders) from (BUSINESS NAME) at the cell number used when signing up. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. I have read and agree with the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy."
Note: Replace (BUSINESS NAME) with your actual business name. The phrases "Terms and Conditions" and "Privacy Policy" should be hyperlinked to their respective pages on your website.
Your website must include a dedicated Privacy Policy page. This page should explain how your business collects, uses, and protects customer data, including how you handle phone numbers and SMS consent.
Your website must also include a dedicated Terms & Conditions page. This page should outline the rules and guidelines for using your services.
