# Send SMS Using Easify Connect

Learn how to set up Easify Connect, send SMS messages from your own phone number, track message activity, and manage campaign sending delays and pauses.

Easify Connect lets you use your Android phone and its SIM card to send business SMS through Easify. You can send individual messages, run SMS campaigns, and manage sending activity from your Easify dashboard.

## What You Need

Before getting started, make sure you have:

-   The **Easify Connect app**
    
-   An **Android phone with an active SIM card**
    
-   A stable **internet connection**
    

## 1\. Install Easify Connect and Connect Your Phone

1.  In your Easify dashboard, open **Easify Connect** and click **Add Device**.
    
2.  Scan the QR code with your Android phone to download the app.
    
3.  Install and open Easify Connect.
    
4.  Tap **Continue**, then **Scan QR**.
    
5.  Scan the login QR code displayed in Easify.

## 2\. Connect Your Phone and Check SMS Status

1.  Open Easify Connect on your phone.
    
2.  Tap the **power button** to connect your device.
    
3.  Check that the app shows **Connected**.
    
4.  Make sure **SMS & Campaigns** is active.
    
5.  Check that all required SMS permissions are set to **Allowed**.
    

Your phone is now ready to send SMS through Easify.

## 3\. Send a Quick SMS

1.  In Easify, open **Quick SMS**.
    
2.  Select your Easify Connect number as the **sender**.
    
3.  Enter the recipient’s phone number.
    
4.  Write your message and click **Send**.
    

Your connected Android phone sends the message through its own SIM card and phone number.

### Track Message Activity

To check your SMS activity, open **SMS Statistics** from the app menu.

## 4\. Send Campaigns and Set the SMS Delay

To send a campaign using Easify Connect:

1.  Create or open your SMS campaign in Easify.
    
2.  Select your Easify Connect number under **Sending Numbers**.
    
3.  On your connected phone, tap [**Update SMS Delay**](https://help.easify.app/en/articles/145-understanding-send-delays.md).
    
4.  Set the shortest and longest wait time between campaign messages.
    

**Note:** SMS delays apply to campaigns. Quick SMS and chat messages are not delayed.

## 5\. Pause Campaigns

You can pause campaign sending directly from the Easify Connect app.

1.  Open Easify Connect on your phone.
    
2.  Turn on **Pause Campaigns**.
    

Campaign messages will stop sending until you turn the pause setting off.
