# Common Issues - Easify Connect

Troubleshoot common Easify Connect issues, including messages received on your phone but not synced with the Easify dashboard, and problems enabling required Android permissions. Follow the recommended steps to resolve these issues and restore normal functionality.

Experiencing issues while using Easify Connect? Here are some common problems and the steps you can follow to resolve them.

## **Messages Received on Phone but Not in Easify?**

If messages are arriving on your device but are not appearing or updating in the Easify admin panel, the issue may be related to **RCS (Rich Communication Services)**.

Disabling RCS chats in Google Messages is the recommended troubleshooting step for resolving this synchronization issue.

### **How to Disable RCS**

1. Open the **Messages** app by Google on your Android device.

2. Tap your **Profile Photo** in the top-right corner.

3. Go to **Messages settings** and select **RCS chats**.

4. Toggle **RCS chats** to **OFF**.

Once disabled, check whether your messages are syncing correctly with the Easify admin panel.

## **Cannot Enable Required Permissions?**

Some Android devices restrict certain permissions for apps installed from sources other than the Google Play Store. You may encounter this restriction when trying to enable permissions required by Easify Connect.

If Android displays a warning that a setting is restricted, you may need to manually allow restricted settings for the app.

### **How to Allow Restricted Settings**

1. On your Android device, open the **Settings** app.

2. Tap **Apps**.

3. Find and select **Easify Connect** (or the app for which you're enabling the permission).
_Tip: If you can't find it, tap_ **_See all apps_** _or_ **_App info_**_._

4. Tap **More** (if available) and select **Allow restricted settings**.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.

Once enabled, return to the app and try granting the required permission again.

**Note:** Only allow restricted settings for apps you trust and have installed from a verified source.
