Website Requirements for 10DLC Registration

A publicly accessible business website can help verify your business and the messaging use case during 10DLC registration.

Your website should clearly represent your business and provide enough information for the registration process to be reviewed. Before submitting your 10DLC registration, make sure your website includes the following information.

Business Information

Your website should clearly identify your business and explain what it does.

Include:

  • Business or brand name

  • A brief description of your business

  • Products or services you offer

  • Business contact information

  • Business address, where applicable

The business information on your website should be consistent with the information provided during 10DLC registration.

Website Accessibility

Make sure your website is:

  • Publicly accessible

  • Live and functional

  • Available without requiring users to log in

  • Hosted on a domain associated with your business

  • Free of broken links or placeholder content

Reviewers should be able to access the website and understand your business without needing additional access or credentials.

Privacy Policy

Your website should have a publicly accessible Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should explain how you collect and use customer information. If you collect phone numbers or send SMS messages, include information about how mobile numbers and SMS-related information are handled.

Where applicable, the Privacy Policy should also explain that mobile information and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Terms and Conditions

Include a publicly accessible Terms and Conditions or Terms of Service page.

If your business uses SMS messaging, the terms should provide information about the messaging program, including applicable messaging and opt-out information.

SMS Consent and Opt-In Information

If customers provide their phone numbers through your website to receive SMS messages, clearly explain what they are agreeing to receive.

Your opt-in section should:

  • Clearly state that the customer is consenting to receive SMS messages

  • Explain the type or purpose of the messages

  • Include the expected message frequency, where applicable

  • Include a statement such as "Message and data rates may apply"

  • Explain how customers can get help, such as by replying HELP

  • Explain how customers can stop receiving messages, such as by replying STOP

  • Provide links to your Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

If you use a consent checkbox, it should require the customer to actively select the checkbox rather than being selected by default.

Contact Form with SMS Opt-In

If your website includes a Contact Form where visitors provide their phone number, include a separate checkbox that allows them to explicitly consent to receiving SMS messages from your business.

The SMS consent checkbox must be:

  • Optional — SMS consent should not be required to submit the form.

  • Clearly labelled — Use the following opt-in message as the checkbox label:

    • By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages (e.g., payment reminders) from [BUSINESS NAME] at the cell number used when signing up. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. I have read and agree with the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy.

Note: Replace [BUSINESS NAME] with your actual business name. The Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy text in the opt-in message should be clickable and link to their respective pages on your website.

Use wording that accurately describes your actual SMS program and opt-in process.

Keep Your Website and 10DLC Registration Consistent

The information on your website should match the information you provide during 10DLC registration.

For example:

  • Your registered business or brand name should correspond with the business represented on your website.

  • The products or services described on your website should be consistent with your messaging use case.

  • Your SMS opt-in process should match the opt-in method described during registration.

  • Your sample messages should reflect the type of messages customers can expect to receive.

Avoid submitting information that is different from what customers see on your website.

Before You Submit

Use the following checklist to review your website:

  • Business name is clearly displayed

  • Business and services are clearly described

  • Contact information is available

  • Website is live and publicly accessible

  • Privacy Policy is available

  • Terms and Conditions are available

  • SMS consent information is provided, if applicable

  • Message frequency is disclosed, if applicable

  • "Message and data rates may apply" is included, if applicable

  • HELP and STOP instructions are provided, if applicable

  • Privacy Policy and Terms links are available near the SMS opt-in

  • Website information matches the information submitted for 10DLC registration

A complete and accessible website helps provide the information needed to review your business and messaging use case during registration. Meeting these website requirements does not guarantee that a 10DLC registration will be approved, as approval can depend on other registration and messaging requirements as well.
