DNC (Do Not Contact) scrubbing checks your contact list against multiple databases to ensure you are not sending messages to numbers or addresses you are legally or ethically prohibited from contacting. Once a contact is scrubbed, Easify will never send to them again.
Easify scrubs your contacts against the following:
• Federal and State DNC lists — Numbers registered on Do Not Call registries.
• TCPA litigators — Known litigators who actively pursue TCPA violations.
• Landlines — Landline numbers that cannot receive SMS messages.
You can run a DNC scrub in two ways:
• From your contacts: Navigate to Contacts > DNC Scrubbing, select the group you want to scrub, and run the check.
• During campaign setup: When creating an SMS campaign, you will have the option to scrub your selected contact group before sending.
Note: DNC scrubbing costs 1 credit per contact ($0.005 USD). Scrubbing is permanent — once a contact is marked as DNC, they will never be contacted through Easify again, regardless of which campaign or group they are in.
